Formats and MIME types: png → image/png · webp → image/webp · svg → image/svg+xml. banner2x and badge2x use their base layout at double resolution. SVG files embed artwork and optional backgrounds.

Before NFC: remaining days. During NFC: Day N of M; large presets show up to three available programme entries with time, title and optional location. Without a programme, the day counter remains. With no next confirmed date: TBA.

These short URLs always resolve to PNG. Use preset URLs for WebP and SVG. All redirects are relative and preserve query parameters.

Status, programme, archive and calendar do not define query parameters. Language and format apply to image URLs only. Archived images are served unchanged.

/api/archive/2026-11-05 becomes available once an image has been published for that date. Its URL is listed in the archive index.

HTTP, caching & errors

  • Public read endpoints: GET, also HEAD. Image endpoints additionally support OPTIONS.
  • Current image redirects: Cache-Control: public, max-age=60; dated images and dated short redirects: max-age=3600.
  • Archived PNGs: max-age=86400. JSON and calendar endpoints set no explicit Cache-Control header.
  • Image endpoints, including errors and redirects: Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *. This does not generally apply to JSON, archive or calendar endpoints.
  • Invalid date, unknown preset or format: 400. Malformed image filename: 404. Image validation errors return JSON with error and Cache-Control: no-store.

Embedding examples

For automatically updating images, always use today or the undated short URLs.
